This will be the first solo exhibition in Tokyo by Yusen Fujii, a seasoned, Kyoto-based contemporary artist whose ink paintings are exhibited and archived at famous Kyoto temples including Ikkyuji, Shokokuji, Kinkakuji (the Golden Pavilion), Rinkoin, Kodaiji, and Entokuin, as well as at the Kodaiji Sho Museum. Following up on the 2008 Tiger Screens Exhibition at Ikkyuji Temple, the 2017 Dragon and Tiger Fusuma Art Exhibition at Rinkoin Temple, and the three-venue solo exhibition Springtime Dragon and the Lazy Cat at Kodaiji, Entokuin and the Kodaiji Sho Museum in spring 2022, this exhibition at Artglorieux showcases Fujii's latest works depicting the world of dragons and tigers.
