In her depictions of human subjects, Ayano Oki fills her lines with tension and imbues each work with a sense of force that seems to express the theme's underlying essence. Rika Oshima, on the other hand, accomplishes exquisite, elaborate depictions as she couples ornamental patterns with adorable human subjects. Aside from their shared focus on human subjects, the styles of the two artists in this duo exhibition differ completely. However, they have decided to share and exchange some of their favorite themes and models to create original works for the event.
